Gas Mask MK221 is an original design. I don't know what was the function of this mask. I think it was used in Civilian Defense. I saw it first on Gasmasklexikon and Le Masque á Gaz and i've never seen it before in Poland.

I have three gas masks MK-221.

My MK-221 gas mask is in very bad condition. The colour of the facepiece was changed from grey to light brown. The outlet valve has a broken mechanical filter. So i think nobody cared about this mask.
